Who is Link’s father? Does Zelda have any children? Are Navi and Fi related? None of these questions will be answered (or even discussed at all) in this episode.
If you told me two months ago that I was going to spend over 45 hours in Skyward Sword in less than a week and have a hell of a time doing so, I would have said you’re out of your mind. I absolutely hated the demo I played back at PAX and even considered it the worst thing I played at the entire show. The controls were awful, the graphics looked like garbage, and it just wasn’t any fun at all. It makes me wonder why Nintendo chose to showcase those particular areas, considering the rest of the game is one of the best Zelda adventures I’ve ever played.
I enjoyed this game far more than I ever would have expected. Read on to find out why.
My interest in this game is officially dead. Before today, I was cautiously optimistic, cause most Zelda games are pretty good, right? The thing is, the only thing that ever seemed appealing about Skyward Sword was the simple fact that it was and is a Zelda game. Not that it has some cool new mechanic or great new story twist, nope, just the fact that it’s Zelda. And after playing the game today, I have to say: that’s just not enough. Read on and weep, Zelda fans.
Three months and three days until Skyward Sword hits North America and two days less than that for Europe. Are you excited? Click through for the full press release.
