Capcom is all about the fighting game community and they’re really pushing the idea of making their games as good as they can be with updates, retrofits and new content. This time around Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition is getting a free update that rebalances every single one of the 39 playable characters in the game. That’s a lot of work. The trailer below is just a partial glimpse of the changes being made. For many people these will seem like insignificant little changes, but for the hardcore and dedicated pro players these are some of the most requested changes to make their favorite characters that much better. Watch the trailer below and please tell us if they did what you wanted to your favorite character. Click to watch the video
It’s kind of incredible how something like PAX can come together. The history of Penny Arcade is long and very entertaining. What started as a 3 panel .jpeg based comic three times a week has turned into a giant community of gamers from around the world and now it’s an EXPO. Here’s a taste of our adventure to Seattle and PAX PRIME in video form. Video itself after the jump.
This is a long video and honestly, do not watch it for entertainment purposes, BUT if you want to learn how to dominate in Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition with the a character that many say is one of, if not the best, Yun, then please check it out.
Broken down by Xian, one of Singapore’s greatest players and moderated by Gootecks, one of the best westcoast players and most friendly gaming personalities out there, this is a sure fire way to up your game. But like I said before, this is not a video for entertainment. This is a serious tutorial for players who want to get better.
Yes, this is a real thing that is actually happening. Ever wanted to know what Hello Kitty would look like with a Hadouken to the face? Well, you need only wait until fall 2012 to find out. Sadly this won’t actually be a game, but rather a line of merchandise which is sure to make Capcom and Sanrio all sorts of money. I certainly know at least one person who will be very excited about this (cough… Bridgette… cough…) Check out the press release after the break.

We’ve got four videos from Capcom here, interviews talking about several of their upcoming games. They’ve got details on Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, Resident Evil Revelations, Street Fighter x Tekken, Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition, Street Fighter Volt, and Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition.
Certainly a lot of titles, and a long runtime to go with.
