Two weeks to go until 11-11-11 and I couldn’t be more excited. This video shows us the concepts, then follows with the real thing – all set to an epic background song (which will be in the game). I highly recommend that you check it out as you wait for Skyrim’s imminent release.
This latest trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is here to show you one thing: a badass dude facing off against a dragon – in live action. Now before you get too excited, he doesn’t actually fight the dragon, it’s just a face off, but nonetheless, it’s Skyrim, and every new Skyrim video means we have to figure out the current countdown until 11-11-11. It’s just 18 days, and then the countdown to 100 percenting the game kicks off. For most people, I’d say that should be quite a bit longer.
Check out the video after the break.
Courtesy of elderscrolls.net. Check out a much larger version on their site right here. And don’t forget, Skyrim will be released on 11-11-11 which is exactly one month from tomorrow. Just 32 more days to go. I can’t wait, how about you?
Watch the Skyrim Demo in Three Parts
by Matt on September 12, 2011 >> PAX • PC • PS3 • Videos • Xbox
If you had 3-4 hours to kill at PAX Prime, you could have played this Skyrim demo, but now it’s available to watch online with no wait at all. Watch the pretty visuals as Game Director Todd Howard tells you what’s happening in this three part demo, which by this point Bethesda should just go ahead and release for download. Two months minus one day until this game hits shelves, and like most gamers, I can’t wait. Check out the demo after the break.
Once again Brittney completely knocks it out of the park with a very cool case mod. This time forget all the lights and see through goodness… this time it’s about adding to it with sculpting a very cool replica of the moving cave wall from the announcement trailer a few months back. Click on to see the making of video.

G4′s got a nearly 14 minute look at Skyrim, running on the Xbox 360, and well, you’re going to want to check this out. Some of the highlights include dragon attacks, showing off a couple of the game’s environments, a third person mode that actually looks good, and some details about dual wielding and weapon / magic combos. There’s a lot to see here, and while there are still a few awkward bits, the game’s looking leagues ahead of Oblivion and Fallout 3.
Sadly the footage isn’t in HD, but it’s so good that even crappy low quality standard def is worth a watch. Are you guys looking forward to this game as much as me? 11-11-11 happens in five months and three days, which is not nearly soon enough.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim looks good in motion
by Matt on February 24, 2011 >> News • PC • PS3 • Videos • Xbox
Gone are the good old days of hideously ugly character models and – wait, did I say good old days? I meant the nightmare. Yeah, with Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls are finally something you actually want to open up to take in the view. Skip to about 1 minute in for the good stuff, and whatever you do, do not, I repeat DO NOT look at Oblivion after watching this trailer. It will make your eyeballs bleed.

Now we can only hope the same will be true for the voice acting. Please, please, please have more than three actors this time, OK?
