Must Watch: Crysis 3 Trailer Surprisingly Cool
by Kent on April 24, 2012 >> News • PC • PS3 • Trailers • Videos • Xbox
I didn’t like Crysis 2. I had a lot of issues with the boring story, the lack of connection to the character, and most of all the environment being the same all the time. I loved the jungle and island settings the first Crysis game because it had naturally occurring differences when I went from one place to another. Crysis 2 lacked that and lacked the organic feel and beauty of the first. Now Crysis 3 blends the two games together with a domed NYC that’s been taken over by jungle growth and the alien menace. Now it’s up to you to wipe them out and take the city back. I feel like this could really redeem the series for me and be the best that the franchise has offered to date. Click to watch the trailer.

Skyrim is one of those games that you’re able to play pretty much any way you want. While there’s no out right and open morality system that dictates massive choices with a dreaded bar that says GOOD or BAD, there are evil things you can do in the game… like steal. Actions have consequences, but now it seems as though you can circumvent some of those consequences by… well… putting buckets on people’s heads. look to see it being done live.
Video Podcast #1 – Where we play Battlefield 3 Co-op (with various levels of success). That’s right, we’re trying something new this time, so feel free to let us know what you think.
RAGE will finally be unleashed in just 4 days on October 4th, and to celebrate that momentous occasion, here is the final RAGE gameplay video from id: “Jackal Canyon: Recover the Decrypter”. As always, it’s badass, extremely good looking, and makes me incredibly happy that the game is just days away from release. Check it out after the break.
Last week we got a glimpse of “Operation Guillotine” but now, not only do we get a much better look, we also get our first look at the game running on an Xbox 360. And it still looks pretty damn good if you ask me. Check it out for yourself after the break.
Watch the first footage from Max Payne 3
by Matt on September 14, 2011 >> PC • PS3 • Tokyo Game Show • Videos • Xbox
Despite the fact that he’s now bald, in a new city, and the game’s made by a totally different studio, it looks like the narrative style is still intact for Max Payne’s newest tale. Max Payne 3 is coming in March 2012, and it looks like we’ll be getting a whole lot of action alongside a signature Rockstar story. I was a huge fan of the first two games, and I love Rockstar, so I can’t wait. As with all Rockstar trailers, this one’s all in-game footage, so go check it out after the break and see what you think.
So this video has only about 15-20 seconds of actual gameplay (out of its 49 second run time) but the fact that those 15-20 seconds contain a dark and insanely good looking explosive firefight makes this video worthwhile. All the gameplay here is from the single player campaign, and we’ll be seeing more footage from “Operation Guillotine” (hopefully longer this time) next Friday, September 16th. Stay tuned for that and check out the teaser right now after the break.
Watch as a trailer for the Physical Warfare Pack shows you all the digital weapons you can use in Battlefield 3. The Physical Warfare Pack contains “the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun, Type 88 Light Machine Gun, flechette ammo for the DAO-12, and a flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle.” Worth pre-ordering? Of course – if you haven’t pre-ordered this game yet, then what are you waiting for.
Check out the weaponized trailer after the break.
Yeah it features the same people (and one bear) as the video we posted yesterday, but this is a more straight forward trailer experience. Check out the super long combos and gorgeous graphics. What do you think of this new look at Street Fighter X Tekken?
Jets, tanks, helicopters, hell yes! This multiplayer map takes things up a notch with massive destruction on a massive scale. 64-player vehicle warfare (PC only, sorry Xbox and PS3) is a thing of beauty, especially when it’s rendered in Frostbite 2. Watch the video and be amazed at just how incredible this game looks. Just a few more months until it hits on October 25th. Yep, I’m excited.
