What does Nightwing have that Batman doesn’t? Well he’s got a $6.99 (560 MSP) DLC for starters, which just happens to feature his unique gadgets, special moves, and looks. It’s kind of too bad that you can only play him in challenge mode, cause flying around the city as Nightwing sounds fun, but at least he does come with 2 new maps (Wayne Manor and Main Hall) and an Animated Series Nightwing skin. This DLC will be available November 1 on Xbox 360 and PS3 (even though the game still won’t be out yet on PC) and if you want some more Dick Grayson in your life, his Robin Bundle Pack will be available on November November 22 for the same price.

My favorite game of 2009 was Batman: Arkham Asylum. It was quite literally everything I’d ever wanted in a Batman game and more. It had elements I didn’t even know I wanted in a Batman game. It mixed the genres of action, stealth, exploration and more into a perfect, cohesive experience that played brilliantly. Is it possible to top such a masterpiece? Rocksteady games had their work cut out for them when they announced Arkham City. We all knew it was coming, but who knew it’d be this damn good.
The PlayStation Vita will be released on February 22, 2012. Does this have anything to do with this episode? Listen to find out… and CONTEST!

PC users still have to wait another month to play Batman: Arkham City, but judging from this new video – it’s worth the wait. Even Arkham Asylum is a damn good looking game on PC with a high end card, but this pretty much blows it away. The level of detail in the backgrounds especially is insane, and I highly recommend that you watch this ASAP.
Batman and Catwoman have never looked better (at least digitally).

Just got one of the best looking Collector’s Editions of all time, and I wanted to share it’s unboxing with you all. With this edition comes a statue made by Kotobukia, early acces to the Iceberg Lounge Challenge Map, early access to the Dark Knight Returns skin, Collectible Art Book, bonus DC Universe animated original movie “Batman: Gotham Knight”, digital download of “Batman: Arkham City The Album”. For whatever reason I got two codes for Catwoman and no code for my Dark Knight Returns skin. This kind of bothered me, but I’m looking into getting it replaced. Click for full unboxing video
“Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced the Nightwing Bundle Pack for Batman: Arkham City will be available November 1. Nightwing comes complete with his own unique gadgets and special moves, and is playable in all challenge maps in the game, as well as two additional challenge maps that are included with the pack: Wayne Manor and Main Hall. The pack also contains a bonus Animated Series Nightwing character skin.”

The demo we got to play at PAX for Arkham City showed off a bit of everything. We saw cutscenes, played as Batman, played as Catwoman, and got to check out the sweet new Batarang controllers. The game looks amazing, feels great, and judging from the demo has everything it needs to be a worthy and improved successor to Arkham Asylum. Keep reading for the details.
It’s a good thing games aren’t like movies, cause with this many villains packed into Batman: Arkham City the movie version would have no chance of being even remotely good. On the other hand, as far as games go, the more (villains) the merrier, and the addition of Mr. Freeze is a great choice. I was always a fan of Mr. Freeze in the animated series, so I’m definitely a fan of giving him a shot to be great in another medium. Plus, figuring out how to kick his ass, and then actually kicking his ass should be a whole lot of fun come October 18th. I can’t wait.
