I just pulled those numbers off the top of my head. Also I really dislike Return of Jedi.

Return of the Jedi is definitely the worst of the 3, but I can’t say I hate it. I love the space sequence at the end, and the Jabba Palace intro. It’s just everything in between, and the fact that Han is a giant pussy that lowers the overall quality.

I think the start of ROTJ is poorly paced but as soon as they get on Endor I’m all in. Speeder Bike chase, giant ground battle, the space battle with those models is AMAZING and hasn’t been replicated since. Not to mention the battle between Luke and Vader is the best of the trilogy with old prune face fucking with them emotionally.

I love ROTJ more than the original Star Wars but not as much as Empire.

I agree with your ranking of the films: 2, 3, 1. Obviously Ewoks are garbage, but the way the ending of the film switches between the various cool battles going on is a lot of fun. I refuse to watch these again though until a proper version is released. I feel like every time someone buys the blurays or sees ep1 in the theater, they’re voting yes to Lucas’ bullshit with their dollars. He doesn’t give a fuck what people say with their mouths, they’re obviously just a “vocal minority” as long as the money keeps flowing in (often from the very same people who complain). The minute people actually didn’t buy his latest repackaging of the films, he’d get the message and give fans what they wanted instead of what he wanted.

I still think the best version of Star Wars some one can watch is Adywan’s Star Wars Revisited and his version of Empire comes out this year.
